5. Copying a Template

Copying a Template

If your instructor has requested that you copy a template of a Portfolio Page or Collection, you will need the name of the Portfolio Page or Collection.

Instructions on copying a single Page Template:

  1. Log in to Mahara – on campus, type in URL:
  2. Click on Portfolio tab
  3. Click on the Copy a Page button (green button on right)
  4. In the Search pages field, type a keyword for the template or your instructors name, depending on which you need, and press Go button
  5. Look at the Page Title to be sure you have the correct one. Also be sure the Owner is Plymouth Portfolio (or your instructor's name or group. Click Copy Page button to the right of the page.
  6. Rename the Page, “First Name, Last Name, Page name” ex. “Todd Dodd, Introduction to This Course”
  7. Click Save button.

You will now be in the Edit Content screen, where you can start adding your content to the copied blocks, or add new blocks as needed.
