Changing Course Format

When a Moodle course is created, it is set up in a Collapsed Topics format. By default, there are 17 topics or sections shown in your course (for a standard session). Typically instructors place content within sections to keep content organized. To change the number of topics, please follow the steps at the following page: Adding or removing weeks/topics

However, there are more course formats than just topics. There is also WeeklyOneTopicCollapsed Weeks or Topics, and a few others.

7. Open this menu and select the appropriate format.
            - If you are interested in seeing what the other formats are like, try them out. Your course content will not be deleted or affected by changes in the Course Format.

8. Once you've made your selection, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save changes.
