Removing Percentages from user report

Moodle's User Report is a grade breakdown for each student. When a student clicks on the Grades link, they are taken to their User Report, which displays all of the assignments (and grades) for the course. Depending on the course grading structure, percentages of grades may be unnecessary to display (or confusing). Follow the instructions below to remove this column from your User Report area.

  1. Log into myPlymouth
  2. Select the myCourses tab and the myCourses window appears.
  3. In the center column, select your class title from the appropriate semester category. You will now be looking at your course's home page.
  4. In the course Settings block (usually found on the left sidebar), select Grades.
  5. Below grades choose the course grade settings.
  6. In the course settings section, locate the Show percentage drop down menu.
  7. Open this menu and select Hide.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save changes.
    • You will then be automatically taken to the User Report area. Notice the Percentage column has been removed.
