Here is how to create a secret URL

  1. To log into Mahara, follow these instructions:

    1. Login to myPlymouth

    2. Select the myCourses tab and the myCourses window appears.

    3. In the right column of the window, in the myLearning section, click on Mahara (ePortfolio) You will now be looking at your Mahara portfolio's homepage.

    4. Click the Portfolio tab.

  2. Select the Shared by Me sub-tab. A list of your collections and pages will be displayed.

  3. Click on the Globe icon next to the page or collection name you want to create a secret URL for. If the Globe icon has a number 1 to the left of it, it means there is already a secret URL for that portfolio and you can copy the existing URL.  Always click on the Globe to get the Secret URL.

  4. You can copy and paste that URL in an email to a person you want to share your portfolio with. If your professor has created a drop box in Moodle, you can paste it there.
