Forgetting Wireless Network on iOS
Posted by Frank Pattiasina, Last modified by Alexa Benanti on 03 June 2016 10:16 AM

This article describes how to forget a Wireless Network on an iOS mobile device. This is typically a routine way to update your password, if you have recently changed it. After forgetting the network, when reconnecting, you will be prompted to enter your credentials. Here, when entering your new password, you will successfully be able to get online and connect to the Wireless Network once again.

Follow these instructions to forget a network on your device:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Wi-Fi.

  3. Tap the Blue "i" beside the network name.

  4. Select Forget this Network.
