CTS - Phone Conferencing - Voice Only Calls

Phone Conferencing

Phone conferencing requires only a phone or a speakerphone. This works well in small groups or office. In a larger space, ITS has a portable Polycom unit (speakerphone) that may be borrowed.

Phone conferencing can be done from any room on campus with a telephone jack, however arrangements must be made a week in advance for any room without a permanently assigned telephone extension. There may be a charge for adding telephone line in rooms that do not have them. Contact the ITS Help Desk at 603-535-2903 for more information.

For phone conferences with more than 2 participants, a phone "bridge" will have to be arranged in advance. Participants are then given a telephone number to call and a passcode. There is usually a per-minute charge for the calls, either borne by the organizers, or the participants themselves. Contact the ITS Help Desk at 603-535-2903 for more information.

Reservations for the Polycom speakerphone should be made a week in advance at: https://www.plymouth.edu/webapp/cts/user/
