Basic Dock Troubleshooting Tips:
-Verify that all cables (video and power) are plugged in and securely connected both to the back of the dock as well as to the laptop
-Make sure that laptop has its external display option turned on (some of them have a keyboard command to turn this on and off)
-Check drivers if possible

Dell WD15 Dock
For users who have the Dell Latitude 5480
On that page, select Find it Myself and then scroll down to Docks/Stands and open that section. Within that section select the "Dell Wired Dock (WD15) / Docking Monitor Stand (DS1000) Firmware Update Utility" and download it.
