There are two ways to schedule a Zoom Meeting:

  1. From Zoom in myPlymouth
  2. From Web-based Outlook
  3. From within Outlook on Desktop
  4. From the Zoom Desktop Application (Windows)

From Zoom in myPlymouth or Browser URL Field

  • If using myPlymouth, go to myCourses and in the myLearning channel under Academic Technology Tools click Zoom
  • If using browser, enter plymouthstate.zoom.us in the url field.
  • Both of these option will take you to the plymouth state zoom landing page

  • Click on the Sign In/My Account in the upper right corner.
  • You will receive the usual myPlymouth login screen.

  • You will be placed on your Personal page.
  • Click on Meetings.

  • Enter your title in Topic. Make this title as descriptive as possible such as "<Course number> Mon. and Wed 12-1:30 pm."
  • Select when to start the meeting and how long in the When and Duration fields.
  • Make sure you are in the correct Time Zone
  • If the meeting is recurring, click the checkbox in front of Recurring Meeting

  • Select how often you want to hold the meeting. If you select No Fixed Time, you will not be able to have this automatically update your calendar but the positive is you have one entry on your personal page that you can start any time.
  • Do not select registration. If you want to take attendance, use Chat. Click here for instructions to use chat.
  • Set the remainder of the options as you would like. We do recommend enabling the waiting room option.
  • Click Save.
  • Click the Meeting button again to see your scheduled meeting(s).

If your meeting requires more than 50 participants, you must complete the Zoom Large Meeting Reservation Form
