Uploading Your poster to OneDrive
Here are the abstract and poster templates.
Use the following OneDrive Space to upload your poster to.
Find your instructors folder and open it.
Select the “upload” button and then “files” to upload your poster file in OneDrive. Select your poster from your computer and select “upload”.
Getting Your Poster URL for Generating a Public QR Code from OneDrive
Find where your file is shared in OneDrive click on the three dot icon and select "Share"
Select "Anyone with the link can edit"
Be sure to make sure “Anyone with the Link” is selected for sharing and uncheck “Allow Editing” then click “Apply.”
Select “Copy Link” to be able to get a copy of the URL you’ll need.
You should see "Link copied" if everything has gone well.
Generating a QR Code with Bing
Use the browser of your choice to go to bing.com
Type in “qr code” in this search engine
You’ll see a QR code generator pop up, paste your URL into the box with the QR code generator
You now have a custom QR code.
Copy the QR "Code Image" by right hand clicking on the QR Code
Placing Your QR Code Into Your Abstract
Return to OneDrive and open the PowerPoint to paste the QR code into your Abstract in the placeholder area for the QR code.
