Well, we are just back to start a new semester and the phishers have begun already.  In the last few days, several PSU students and employees have reported receiving emails that either profess a job offer and/or warnings that your PSU account will be deactivated without action.

New PSU Password Policy Coming on October 28, 2019

On Monday, October 28, Plymouth State University ITS will enact a new password policy based on current industry standards.  The new, low impact policy will apply to all ITS managed applications and on all USNH campuses.  The new standards will require a password between 14-64 characters with no complexity (for example, it can be all lowercase) and no requirements for special characters.

Our users are reporting that access to PSU SharePoint and OneDrive is intermittent and, in some cases, unavailable all-together.  As a cloud-based service, the trouble is not local to our campus and Microsoft has confirmed that the trouble is on their end.  Our PSU IT team is monitoring the situation and will update the campus a more information becomes available.
